A rainy day in Bangkok,

It’s been raining for almost a week now! After 3 years in Bangkok, this is very unusual. This brings back a certain feeling of Europe, Paris, Stockholm and Edinburgh. The other day i posted a story on a “10-year-old file”, and here I found a few photos as well from one of my trips to Scotland.

I was there assisting a photographer for a  magazine, the reportage was about Valentine’s day. The job consisted in shooting from morning till night, very nice and charming guest houses and hotels, good restaurants and cosy pubs and very beautiful landscapes etc. things to do & see for a romantic weekend. We were shooting this in December, freezing cold, no light except between 8.00 am – 1.00 pm, the rest of the time it was blackout. We had to get up at 5.00 am, drive like crazy to a castle or whatever we where visiting, to be able to catch the light!! In the afternoon we played chess in the pub and visited a few fantastic distilleries in the highlands, and I must say even in December, Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries I have been to, with a mysterious landscape.

At the end of this trip, considering circumstances, the photographer had the most amazing and beautiful pictures of this harsh, cold, nude and windy lands of Scotland.
